The event has been organised by the Joint Commissioning Unit (NHS + Walsall Council) and it is designed to be as much about getting a better understanding of what people want as it is about raising awareness of the wider options available to support independent living and wellbeing.

This is an event to promote and raise awareness of Care and Support Services to all residents of the Borough. It is important to note, the Providers of these services have been successful in a recent tender process based on their ability to deliver an improved quality based provision.
Other providers such as the Independent Living Centre, Age UK, NHS Walsall and West Midlands Fire Service will also be providing information on their services.
- Public Health will be carrying out health checks such as blood pressure and BMI.
- Sport and Leisure Services will have a health and fitness instructor with a light exercise demonstration which people can join in.
Promotion of this event in your constituency would be appreciated as well as your attendance.
